2 Injured In Three-Way Bike Accident In Assam

Guwahati: As many as two bikers sustained severe injuries in a three-way collision that occurred in Tamarhat of Assam on Sunday night.

Initial reports state that three motorcycles were involved in a road accident in Tamarhat town in the Dhubri district of Assam.

The three motorcyclists were reportedly travelling at a high pace in the same direction when one of them attempted to pass another.

However, one of the motorcycles crashed into another while attempting to pass another, which caused the collision.

The accident occurred right in front of Tamarhat Police Station on the route connecting to Tamarhat market.

Meanwhile, those who sustained injuries in the incident were identified as Dipak Das and Pabitra Das, both residents of Talowagaon. They were heading towards their home when the incident occurred.

The two injured were transferred to Dhubri for better treatment after the accident in a critical condition.

The Apache motorcycle bearing registration number AS 16 J 8314 has also been seized by the police officials.

However, it appears that the other two riders of the motorbike that was involved in the collision while attempting to overtake were able to escape the spot.
