Guwahati: A major fire broke out at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Guwahati on April 3.
According to reports, a fire erupted at around 5.30 pm on the first floor of the laboratory attached to the medical college’s pathology part.
The fire has triggered panic among the patients and their attendants at the hospital.
However, the exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
No casualties have been reported so far.
Meanwhile, fire tenders have reached the spot and the operation douse to the flames is underway.
