Assam: Woman’s Body Found in Baralia River, Probe Underway

Guwahati: In a tragic incident, a woman’s body was found in Nalbari district of Assam.

According to reports, the body of the woman was recovered in the waters of the Baralia River in Baharghat.

The victim has been identified as Munu Lahkar.

Reportedly, Lahkar is a teacher from Lahakpara.

The exact cause of the woman’s death is yet to be ascertained.

Currently, police officials are investigating the reason for her death.

The body was first spotted by the locals after which they informed the police officials.

Upon receiving information, police officials reached the spot and retrieved the body to conduct a preliminary investigation.
