Prez Droupadi Murmu Takes Jeep Safari Instead of Elephant Safari Inside Kaziranga

Guwahati: President Droupadi Murmu took a for a Jeep Safari inside the centre range of Kaziranga National Park as opposed to an elephant safari on Friday morning.

The decision was made in accordance with a unique protocol that must be followed on each visit to safeguard the safety of the Indian President.

The one-horned rhinoceros, wild buffalo, deer, and birds were among the wildlife that the President of India reportedly witnessed when visiting the park from Mihimukh Point.

They claimed that as she entered the park from Mihimukh Point amd she spotted a variety of creatures, including a one-horned rhinoceros, wild buffalo, deer, and birds.

Further, President Murmu fed elephants inside the park.

The two-day “Gaj Utsav-2023” was then launched by President Droupadi Murmu on the playground field of the Kaziranga National Park High School.

Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria and Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma were present in the occasion.

Notably, President Murmu will go to Guwahati on Friday in the afternoon where she would attend the Gauhati High Court’s platinum jubilee festivities in the evening and launch the “Mount Kanchenjunga Expedition-2023.”
