Meanwhile reacting to this social media user wrote, “Typing relatively less price it doesn’t mean 155 rate is an adorable one to end with though it’s getting higher near every week.”

The minister stated that Guwahati’s price of mustard oil is significantly less than that of other cities as a result of the government’s efforts to maintain retail prices low on April 7 during the budget assembly session.

The minister also spoke about the discrepancy in retail prices of other necessities like diesel and potatoes in Guwahati and other cities, highlighting the need for the government to make efforts to keep prices stable and affordable for the general population.

The minister’s remarks were warmly welcomed by the people of Guwahati, who have been struggling with high inflation and rising prices for basic goods.

The government is making an effort to keep the retail price of mustard oil in Guwahati low to help the general public and help them cope with the current economic situation.
