The drug peddler has been identified as Habibur Rahman alias Habijur.

Reportedly, Rahman was arrested from Kherbari of Panikhaiti village in Chandrapur subdivision.

Around 23 kilograms of ganja have been seized from his possession.

Reportedly, the ganja business had long been operated by Habibur Rahman.

The police had been carefully monitoring his actions during the previous few months.

A group of police officers invaded his hiding place and took him into custody after receiving a tip.
