Guwahati: In a shocking incident, a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan committed suicide due to family dispute in Nagaon district of Assam on Monday morning.
The incident took place in Kampur of the district.
The jawan has been identified as Sanjeeb Lashkar.
As per reports, Lashkar hanged himself from a fan in his chamber.
Lashkar’s family alleged that for several days he and his wife, Sweety Raja Lashkar, had been arguing over personal matters for a few days, and as a result she had been spending a lot of time away from him at the home of her maternal family in the Jajri area.
The duo tied the knot 15 years ago and became parents to a single child.
Meanwhile, the police arrived at the spot and made arrangements for post-mortem examination.
