What Would ‘Maa Kamakhya Corridor’ Look Like After Renovation?

Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma gave worshippers a preview of what the reconstructed “Maa Kamakhya corridor” in Guwahati would look like in the future and informed them of what to expect from the Kamakhya temple.

Sharing a video through Twitter, the chief minister wrote, “Sharing a glimpse of how the renovated Maa Kamakhya corridor will look like in the near future.”

One of the oldest and most revered Tantric practise centres is the Kamakhya temple in Guwahati’s Nilachal Hills, which is dedicated to the Goddess Kamakhya.

The temple would seem even more beautiful when the Assam government decides to refurbish it. The modern “Maa Kamakhya Corridor” was modelled by the government. According to sources, the corridor’s refurbishment will match that of Vishwanath Corridor and Mahakal Corridor. There will be a Maa Chinnamasta Prangan, a Maa Kamakhya Prangan, and a Pravesh Prangan. The English word “corridor” from prangan. Temples will be improved and renovated in accordance with the plan.

There will be a network of paths built for followers. There will be paths with roofs in the summer. In addition, a VIP pathway will be constructed. The plantation will enclose both sides of the road at the main entrance. Space, vegetation, and the aesthetics of the temples are highlighted in the blueprint.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed optimism that the Maa Kamakhya corridor will be a historic project like the Kashi Vishwanath Dham and the Shree Mahakal Mahalok route.

The Prime Minister tweeted, “I am sure Maa Kamakhya corridor will be a landmark initiative. Kashi Vishwanath Dham and Shree Mahakal Mahalok have been transformative as far as the spiritual experience is concerned. Equally important is the fact that tourism is enhanced and the local economy gets a boost.”
