J&K: 4 Army jawans killed as vehicle catches fire in Poonch

Guwahati: In a tragic incident, at least four Indian Army Jawans were killed on Thursday in the Poonch area of Jammu and Kashmir after their vehicle caught fire.

Several jawans have reportedly been injured in the incident.

The incident has occurred in Bhata Dhurian area on Rajouri Poonch National Highway.

According to reports, it’s suspected a lightning strike caused the fire to ignite.

However, once Army and police personnel have arrived at the scene of the incident, the precise cause of the fire will only be known. An investigation into the incident has begun.
