Rapper Honey Singh In Legal Trouble After Charged Of Abduction, Assault An Event Organiser
Guwahati: Rapper and performer Honey Singh has been reported to the police for reportedly kidnapping and abusing an event organiser in Mumbai.
According to reports, the complainant, identified as Vivek Raman filed a case at the BKC police station against Honey Singh and others.
“Vivek Raman, the owner of an event company, has lodged a complaint against Honey Singh and others for kidnapping, keeping him captive, and assaulting him,” Mumbai Police said.
The complainant claimed that Singh had kidnapped, imprisoned, and assaulted him in a Mumbai hotel outside of the city.
Raman had planned a concert for the artist for April 15 at Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), but it had to be postponed due to mistakes in the money transaction in accordance with the April 19 complaint.
He further said that Honey Singh and his friends were enraged by the postponement of the event, and that they later kidnapped him, held him captive in a Mumbai hotel, and attacked him.
The complainant has demanded that Singh be charged and that the singer and his friends be taken into custody.
Police say they initiated an investigation into the situation.
