2 KLO Cadres Killed During Clash With Police in Assam’s Kokrajhar

Guwahati: Two militants of the banned insurgent outfit Kamatapur Liberation Organisation (KLO) have been killed in fresh clashes that erupted with the police in Kokrajhar district of Assam.  

Upon getting precise information regarding the presence of KLO cadres there, the police reportedly launched extensive operations at Chakraxila Hills.

After thorough searching, the police busted a hideout of the banned outfit.

As a result, the police and the outfit got into violent fights.

The two deceased cadres have been identified as Abhijit Deka of Rowta and Nipun Roy of Bongaigaon.

As per police, four cadres managed to flee from the spot of the incident.

However, one cadre was captured and taken into custody by the police.
