Guwahati: Popular Assamese singer Krishnamoni Chutia was injured after his vehicle met with an accident on Monday.
The accident occurred at Samaguri in Nagaon district of Assam.
According to reports, his vehicle collided with a tempo when he was way back from his concert.
In the incident, drivers of the both the vehicles were also injured.
Reports claim that the impact was so severe that Krishnamoni’s vehicle’s entire front end was damaged.
The injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital.
All the injured including Chutia is undergoing medical treatment.
Krishnamoni Chutia, who is well-known for his melodic voice and services to the Assamese music industry, was returning from appearing in a cultural event in Nalbari when the terrible incident took place.
