Siksha Setu Axom Portal Launched In Guwahati

Guwahati: The “Siksha Setu Axom” webpage officially launched at an event attended by the Assam education minister Ranoj Pegu in Guwahati on Monday.

According to reports, the portal’s debut ceremony was held today in Guwahati’s Kahilipara. The portal has been started to gather all information about schools, including data about the staff and students.

Assam education minister Ranoj Pegu was in attendance at Kahilipara where the portal was formally launched.

The state will experience ‘School Profile Updation Week’ following the Siksha Setu Axom site’s opening, during which all information will be uploaded to the portal.

Speaking at the event, Ranoj Pegu said, “With the help of this portal, we are looking to take things forward in terms of revamping the education sector.”

‘School Profile Updation Week’ will take place in Assam from April 24 to April 30, 2023. This was informed by the state education minister.

Taking to Twitter, Ranoj Pegu had written, “From April 24-30, 2023 we will be observing the School Profile Updation Week, wherein 360 degree information on schools will be uploaded in the Siksha Setu Asom Portal.”
