Women Among 7 Injured In Clash Over Land Dispute at Assam’s Nagarbera

Guwahati: As many as seven people were injured after a clash broke out between two families in Karmrup district of Assam on Wednesday morning.

The incident took place at Bhakhuradia village in Nagarbera of the district.

As per reports, the clash erupted following a land dispute between the two groups of people.

Reportedly, the conflict started between the families of Azad Ali and Jahidul Islam, who are neighbours and have a long-standing land dispute.

However, things got worse this morning, and there was a violent altercation between the two groups where at least seven people including women were injured.

The injured persons were admitted to the nearby Tupamari Primary Health Centre for medical attention.

Later, local police arrived at the spot and took access of the situation.

Moreover, two persons were also detained in connection to the incident.
