Guwahati: Advocate Bhagwant Singh Sialka said that the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) would appeal the board’s decision to the High Court on April 27.
He made this statement after arriving in Assam with his 10-member team
“We have arrived to meet the detainees and leave for Punjab after the family members of the detainees meet their respective kin. We will try to challenge whatever will be the board’s order at the High Court,” he added.
A 10-member team consisting of Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee members and the families of the eight detainees came at the Dibrugarh Central Jail on the morning of April 27.
