Guwahati: At least to 10 houses were gutted by a massive fire that broke out in a locality in the Karimganj district of Assam.
The incident was reported from Patel Nagar area on Wednesday night.
As per reports, arson is suspected to be the reason behind the blaze.
However, the exact reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained.
Reports further stated that the fire destroyed goods worth lakhs.
Upon being informed, fire tenders arrived at the spot.
They arrived and were able to successfully extinguished the unprecedented fire before it could spread.
