Results for Assam’s 4,380 Teaching Positions Announced

Guwahati: The result for 4,380 teaching posts in lower primary and middle English schools were published at midnight by the Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam. The result was declared on the DEE’s official website (dee.assam.gov.in).

In Lower Primary schools, 3,887 of the 4380 teaching positions are for assistant teachers, whereas Middle English schools have 1,443 positions for both assistant teachers and science teachers.

District-by-district announcements of the teaching position results were made on the DEE website.

It was previously claimed that on May 11 in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, all new recruits would receive their appointments.

Shah’s tour, which was originally scheduled to mark the alliance government led by Himanra Biswa Sarma’s second term in power on May 11, had to be postponed to May 26 due to the political and social tension in Manipur at the time.

Following this, the newly hired candidates would now receive their employment letters on May 26 rather than May 11, as announced by the Assam chief minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, at a news conference held here in Guwahati.

However, there have been no modifications made to the candidates’ joining dates, which are June 1, 2023.
