Guwahati: A young man was brutally attacked with a machete by a group of unidentified criminals in Bokajan in the Karbi Anglong district of Assam on Wednesday.
The incident reportedly occurred in Bokajan’s Tinglijan area, where the criminals fatally attacked youth, identified as Rimsan Marak with a machete.
The perpetrators discarded his body in a field close to the scene of the murder after committing the crime.
The police arrived at the scene following the recovery of the body and launched an investigation to determine the motives for the attack and apprehend those responsible.
