Guwahati: Two inmates of Silchar Central Jail in Assam have escaped from prison on Thursday.
As per information received, the prisoners include murder convicts.
However, a massive search operation is underway to trace them.
Moreover, the identity of the two inmates is yet to be ascertained.
A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
