Guwahati: Many people protested in Kangpokpi district of Manipur by stopping trucks with important things that were going to Imphal after coming from Dimapur on May 11.
As per official reports, trucks with important things are not allowed to go to the city of Imphal because of a parade held by people from Kangpokpi and nearby places. The trucks are going back to Senapati.
New incidents of fighting and violence happened. One police officer from Manipur died and three others were hurt from bullets during an intense fight between security forces and suspected militants on May 11.
The injured security personnel have been sent to various hospitals of the state as the situation in Manipur continues to remain tense.
