Guwahati: In a massive haul, a huge quantity of illicit drugs has been seized by Assam Police from Hailakandi district on Tuesday.
Based on specific input, Office-in-Charge of Jamira PS in Hailakandi conducted an operation and seized the contraband drugs.
During the operation, around 332 grams of contraband drugs was seized.
Moreover, three alleged drug smugglers have also been arrested by the police in connection to it.
The arrested trio has been identified as Nazrul Hussain Borbhuya, Bikram Riyang, and Ajmal Hussain Borbhuyan.
The estimated market value of the seized drugs is close to around Rs 3 crore.
