Guwahati: A Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) employee in Grade IV has been suspended for acting inappropriately with a patient’s attendant on hospital property, reports emerged on Tuesday.
The employee of GMCH who misbehaved and even got into a physical altercation with the carer of a patient earlier today has been named as Bimal Kumar Das. The CCTV camera that was put in the room recorded the entire event.
It was evident from the video that the employee and the attendant got into a brawl when their disagreement eventually became heated.
After hearing about the incident, GMCH Superintendent Abhijeet Sarma suspended the employee for acting inappropriately towards the patient’s attendant.
