45,000 appointment letters To Be distributed by HM Amit Shah in Assam on May 25

Guwahati: As a result of a scheduling change, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be handing out appointment letters to newly recruited youths in Assam on May 25 rather than May 26.

The state government of Assam plans to present 45,000 appointment letters to recently hired youths across several government sectors, and Shah will take part in a major programme on May 25 in Guwahati as part of his two-day visit to the state.

Earlier today, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited Khanapara to check on the preparations for the largest-ever ceremony for distributing appointment letters.

Moreover, during his visit, Shah will lay the cornerstone for the National Forensics Science University in Guwahati.

It should be noted that the distribution of appointment letters to newly hired employees had originally been set for May 11 but had to be delayed until May 26 due to the political and social climate in Manipur, a bordering state, at the time.

Later, the distribution date for the appointment letter was once more postponed to May 25.

Meanwhile, there will no change regarding the joining dates of the candidates i.e. on June 1, 2023.
