Guwahati: A robbery occurred in the locality of Lenga in North Guwahati of Assam in the early hours of Sunday, alarming the locals.
The incident took place at a business establishment known as Deka Metal Store.
The robbers made off with a number of valuable things along with metal and glass kitchenware.
The incident comes after a recent theft case at a school on Lenga-Kuruwa Road, adding to the community’s rising anxiety.
Locals are expressing their annoyance and rage about the spate of thefts in the area.
