HSLC Results 2023: Assam CM Congratulates #ExamWarriors & Has a Message for Disappointed

Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday congratulated the children who had passed the class 10 High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examinations.

The chief minister referred to the children as “Exam Warriors,” congratulated them on their victory, and also had a message for students who are not happy with their test results.

He wrote on Twitter, “Congratulations to all #ExamWarriors who performed well. For those unhappy, remember~ One exam cannot make or break your career. Success is a result of perseverance & hard work. See your result as a beginning & not the end. You have miles to go, this is only a tiny step forward. “

This morning, the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) revealed the results for the HSLC examinations. While the success rate in the Kamrup (Metropolitan) district was recorded as 77.18 percent, the overall pass rate for the state was 72.69 percent.

In all, 4,15,324 candidates showed up for the board exam. First division was earned by 94,913 students, second division by 1,48,573 students, and third division by 58,394 students out of the total.

8,517 students earned distinction marks in the exams, while 18,653 students achieved star grades.

The male candidates were able to outperform the female candidates this year, obtaining a total pass percentage of 74.71% as opposed to 70.96%, according to official figures.

A total of 1,94,063 male candidates had applied to appear for the HSLC exams this year, while the number of female candidates who applied was 2,28,140.
