Assam Lad Mayur Hazarika succeeds UPSC Exam, Secures 5th Position

Guwahati: Mayur Hazarika, a native of Assam, is filled with pleasure after earning the fifth spot in the Civil Services Examinations 2022 administered by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Hazarika was a rank holder in both the Higher Secondary (HS) and High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) exams and is from Tezpur in Assam.

Ishita Kishore won the exam, according to official statistics. On Tuesday, the UPSC had released the exam results.

Furthermore, Mohammad Idul Ahmed, a youth from Assam, passed the UPSC test as well, earning the 298th position.

The UPSC CSE preliminary test had results announced on June 22 taking place on June 5, 2022. The mains exam was conducted from September 16 to 25, and the results were declared on December 6.

Meanwhile, the personal interviews concluded on May 18.

All the candidates have been recommended for appointment to – Indian Administrative Service (IAS); Indian Foreign Service (IFS); Indian Police Service (IPS); Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.
