ISRO Successfully Launches Advanced Navigation Satellite NVS-01 from Sriharikota

Guwahati: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) accomplished yet another feat on Monday when it successfully launched its cutting-edge navigation satellite NVS-01 from Sriharikota.
The Satish Shawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, served as the launch site. It is the first satellite in India’s second-generation NavIC constellation with improved characteristics.

After 19 minutes of flight, the satellite was put into a geosynchronous transfer orbit, according to a tweet from ISRO.
“After a flight of about 19 minutes, the NVS-O1 satellite was injected precisely into a Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit. Subsequent orbit-raising manoeuvres will take NVS-01 into the intended Geosynchronous orbit,” ISRO stated.
