4 projects totaling Rs. 1450 cr inaugurated in Assam by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari

The four-lane portion between Nagaon Teliagaon and Teliagaon Ranggara Bypass was launched on Monday by Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, who also laid the foundation for the four-lane section between Dabboka and Palakwa on the Mangaldai Bypass and Assam of Prime. Minister Himanta met with Minister Biswa Salma, MP Dilip Saikia, MP Pradut Boldroy, and Minister of Forests and Environment Chandra Mohan Patwary on Monday through videoconference.
These four projects, totaling Rs. 1,450 crore, represent a major investment in the infrastructure of the state.

The 18 km (4-lane) stretch between Teliagaon-Rangagara and Nagaon Bypass-Teliagaon is valued at Rs 403 crore. By improving accessibility between North Assam and Upper Assam, this enlarged route encourages economic growth and creates new opportunities.

Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal, and Assam are now more connected, promoting smooth travel and regional integration. The foundation for a 15-kilometer bypass on NH 15 was laid at Mangaldai. It will cost a total of 535 crores.
The Guwahati-Dimapur Economic Corridor is strengthened with the construction of a 13 km long bypass between Daboka and Parakhuwa on NH-29, which will cost a total of 517 crores. This will boost ties to Myanmar and Thailand. Assam and Nagaland’s interregional communication will improve as a result of the bypass.
