Gas Tanker Leakage Brought Under Control In Sonapur

A team from Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) in Sonapur, Assam, effectively stopped a gas leak from a tanker truck that had collapsed, preventing what appeared to have been a major accident.
The IOCL crew finally succeeded in stopping the leak after three exhausting hours of effort, averting a potentially fatal emergency.

The event was reported from the Sonapur neighbourhood of Patharkuchi, which is on the outskirts of Guwahati, where a gas truck was involved in an accident and gas began to leak from it, harming the region even more.
According to sources, the car lost control and crossed the divider before flipping over into the other lane. The tanker’s driver suffered injuries and was taken urgently to a local hospital for treatment.
