Man Commits Suicide at Former Landlord’s House In Guwahati

Guwahati: In a tragic turn of events, a man in his 30s allegedly committed suicide on Saturday morning in the front yard of the home of his former landlord in Noonmati area of Guwahati.

The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Deka, a contractual employee at the Guwahati Refinery.

As per the information received, Deka was hanging in the front garden of his previous landlord’s home in Bishnu Rabha nagar in Noonmati.

A few months ago, Deka and his family relocated to a different rental home. The reason behind him taking the extreme step is yet to be ascertained.

The incident has been reported to the city police.
