Former Chief Minister of Assam and Lok Sabha candidate for the Dibrugarh constituency, Sarbananda Sonowal, graced the Goru Bihu celebrations at Bajalatali in Tinsukia. The event, organized by the Yuvak Sangha and Library, honored the cherished tradition that embodies the essence of Assamese culture.
The festivities drew a jubilant gathering of locals, who came together to participate in the age-old festival. Among the highlights was the traditional egg fight, a lively custom integral to Goru Bihu, in which Sonowal enthusiastically participated.
