BJP Manifesto Unveiled: Sabarnanda Sonowal Highlights Key Promises for Nation’s Future

In a press briefing just hours after the release of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) manifesto in New Delhi, Sabarnanda Sonowal, the Minister of AYUSH, elucidated the significant promises outlined in the document, setting the stage for transformative initiatives under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolute vision for the nation.

Sonowal underscored the essence of the manifesto as a comprehensive roadmap for the future well-being of all citizens, highlighting key initiatives aimed at transforming lives across India. Foremost among the pledges is the introduction of the Ayushman Card, designed to alleviate the financial burden of medical treatment by providing coverage for medical expenses up to 5 lakhs, ensuring healthcare accessibility for all.

The BJP’s commitment to addressing housing needs was revealed, with plans to provide homes for 3 crore deserving individuals, emphasizing inclusive growth and prosperity nationwide. Additionally, Sonowal announced the party’s intention to create 3 crore ‘Lakhpoti Baideo’ – women entrepreneurs – fostering entrepreneurship and gender equality.

Recognizing the importance of basic amenities for women, the BJP pledges to construct toilets specifically for women, promoting health and dignity. Furthermore, plans for the introduction of a bullet train were announced, promising enhanced connectivity and efficiency in transportation.

Key promises include ‘One Nation One Election’, promotion of ‘Lakhpati Didis’, elimination of electricity bills through the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, and plans for India’s bid for the 2036 Olympics.
