Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha has confidently asserted that the INDI alliance, comprising CPIM and Congress, will soon be relegated to history, as people eagerly await the opportunity to vote for BJP candidates in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Speaking at an election campaign in support of BJP candidate Biplab Kumar Deb at Banamalipur Assembly Constituency, Dr. Saha highlighted the peaceful conduct of elections in Tripura, citing BJP’s victories in previous polls. He emphasized the public’s faith in PM Modi’s inclusive governance, evidenced by the overwhelming support received during nomination filing ceremonies.
During a roadshow at Bardowali Assembly Constituency on the same day, Dr. Saha criticized the opposition for identifying as the CPIM-Congress alliance, branding them as the INDI alliance. He accused the CPIM of replicating Congress’s actions, particularly referencing the 10,323 issue and past instances of violence during their regimes.
Asserting BJP’s commitment to development and zero tolerance for corruption under PM Modi’s leadership, Dr. Saha declared that the INDI alliance’s days were numbered, predicting their eventual placement in a museum as relics of the past.
He concluded by expressing confidence in BJP’s popularity and the electorate’s eagerness to vote for BJP candidates, signaling a promising outlook for the party in the upcoming elections.
