The Kaziranga National Park Authority has released crucial guidelines for tourists planning to visit the renowned wildlife sanctuary, marking the end of the 2023/24 tourist year.
According to the notification, the park will close elephant safaris for tourists from May 1, citing inclement weather and road conditions. Similarly, jeep safaris will cease operation for tourists from May 16 onwards.
Tourists interested in experiencing the park through an elephant safari are advised to plan their visit before April 30. Likewise, those opting for a jeep safari experience are encouraged to visit the park by May 15.
Following these dates, both elephant and jeep safaris will be suspended, limiting tourist access to the park. These measures are aimed at ensuring visitor safety and preserving the natural habitat of the wildlife during adverse weather conditions.

As the tourist year comes to a close, tourists are encouraged to explore the breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife of Kaziranga National Park while complying with the prescribed safety measures.
