Mixed Voter Turnout in Assam Lok Sabha Elections

Assam witnessed a mixed voter turnout in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, with varying levels of participation reported across different constituencies until 11 am. Overall, Assam recorded a voter participation rate of 27.43 percent.

Diphu constituency emerged as the leader in voter engagement, with the highest turnout of 30.82 percent by 11 am, indicating strong early participation from voters in the region.

In contrast, Silchar recorded a slightly lower voter turnout of 23.20 percent by the same time, while Nagaon constituency experienced a modest participation rate of 25.29 percent.

Darrang Udalguri constituency reported a commendable turnout of 28.81 percent, showcasing significant voter interest and engagement in the electoral process.
