CRPF Inspector General Condemns Attack, Vows Justice; Manipur CM Mourns Loss of Personnel

Addressing the media, CRPF IG Akhilesh Prasad Singh remarked, “There are few people who have this kind of thinking, who have anti-national or anti-social thinking. Most people are good people, they do not want this kind of environment to exist. There is a small group who have such thinking. It is my hope that gradually they will also understand this and they will also join the mainstream…And as far as weapons are concerned, they have weapons, some are locally made, some have come from outside, some have been looted…”

Meanwhile, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh unequivocally condemned the attack on Indian security forces in the Naransena region of Bishnupur district. Describing the assault as an act of cowardice against dedicated security personnel, Singh emphasized their unwavering commitment to preserving peace and stability in the state. He assured that the sacrifices made by the fallen CRPF personnel would not be forgotten.

In a statement shared on his official platform, CM Biren Singh wrote, “Strongly condemn the assault carried out against the Indian security forces, resulting in the tragic loss of two CRPF personnel in the Naransena area of Bishnupur district. Such actions demonstrate cowardice against dedicated security personnel who work tirelessly day and night to uphold peace and stability in the state. Their sacrifice will not go in vain.”
