Canadian authorities have made a significant breakthrough in the investigation into the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, with the arrest of the fourth suspect, Amandeep Singh. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) confirmed the arrest on Saturday, charging Amandeep Singh with first-degree murder and conspiracy related to Nijjar’s killing.
Amandeep Singh, a 22-year-old Indian national residing in Brampton, Surrey, and Abbotsford, was already in custody in Ontario on unrelated firearms charges at the time of his arrest. The IHIT has been actively pursuing leads in the case, and this latest arrest marks a significant development in the ongoing investigation.
Mandeep Mooker, the officer leading the IHIT, emphasized the importance of this arrest in holding those responsible for Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s homicide accountable. He stated, “This arrest underscores the nature of our ongoing investigation to ensure justice for Hardeep Singh Nijjar and bring closure to his family and loved ones.”
