Assam Youth Reported Missing During Journey to Kerala for Employment

Majibur Rahman, a resident of Kasuwa No. 2 in Nagaon district, has been reported missing while en route to Kerala in search of employment opportunities. Rahman, the sole provider for his family of five, vanished from a train in Madhya Pradesh on Friday under suspicious circumstances, plunging his loved ones into distress.

Initial reports suggest that Rahman was accosted by a group of individuals before his sudden disappearance. Despite intensive search efforts spanning three days, Rahman remains unaccounted for, deepening concerns within his family and the local community.

Rahman’s journey to Kerala was part of a broader trend among young men from Assam seeking livelihood opportunities in distant states. The shocking turn of events has rattled his family, who received alarming news through a distressing phone call.

In a heartfelt appeal for assistance, Rahman’s children have reached out to the Chief Minister of Assam and implored anyone with pertinent information to come forward. As anxiety mounts, Rahman’s family clings to hope, fervently praying for his safe return.
