Deputy Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly, Numal Momin, exudes confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) forthcoming triumph in West Bengal, predicting a resounding victory with over 35 seats secured. Momin’s assertion reflects a significant shift in the political dynamics of the state.
“BJP will sweep West Bengal,” Momin declared emphatically, underlining his unwavering faith in the party’s electoral prospects. He pointed to the BJP’s campaign momentum, encapsulated by the slogan, “Abki baar Modi sarkar, ab ki baar Mamata ki buri haar,” signaling an imminent defeat for incumbent Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
In critiquing Banerjee’s tenure, Momin drew attention to critical issues of safety and security prevailing under her administration. “People feel unsafe, and their property remains unprotected in West Bengal,” he asserted, highlighting concerns over law and order.
Momin specifically scrutinized the Chief Minister’s track record on women’s safety, lamenting, “Despite being a woman Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee failed to safeguard women in West Bengal.” He expressed optimism that voters would seek a change in leadership, reflecting widespread discontent with the current regime’s performance.
