Assam: STF Operation Targets Illegal IPL Betting in Dhubri’s Bilasipara

In a strategic move to combat illegal betting activities surrounding the Indian Premier League (IPL), Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Satyendra Singh Hazari spearheaded a decisive operation under the Special Task Force (STF) in Bilasipara, Dhubri. The operation culminated in the apprehension of two individuals and the confiscation of several electronic gadgets and betting paraphernalia.

Prompted by intelligence reports and meticulous surveillance, the STF swiftly intervened to dismantle the covert IPL betting network operating in Bilasipara. The apprehended individuals, whose identities remain undisclosed, were found in possession of electronic devices suspected to have facilitated illegal betting activities, alongside other incriminating evidence.
