The harrowing incident left a couple and their two children vulnerable and displaced after their residence was set ablaze. In a commendable display of professionalism and compassion, the Assam Rifles, returning from a routine patrol in BoroBekra, promptly responded to a distress call from the besieged family.
Effecting a timely rescue operation, the Assam Rifles evacuated the distressed family from Leisabithol village. However, their journey to safety encountered a brief halt near Uchathol village, where a group of concerned women sought information about the rescued family.
Demonstrating seamless coordination, the Assam Rifles swiftly liaised with local police authorities to manage the gathering and ensure a peaceful resolution to the situation. Subsequently, the rescued family was safely relocated to Bidyanagar Sports Stadium in Jiribam, where they received essential relief assistance and support to help them cope with their ordeal.
