Authorities Intensify Search for Missing Head in Dhakuakhana Murder Case

The mystery surrounding the brutal murder in Dhakuakhana’s Chapotia Chetia village continues to perplex authorities as the search for mason Jahangir’s missing head intensifies.

Recently, DNA tests confirmed that the headless and charred body found earlier belongs to Jahangir. Despite this confirmation, the missing head, crucial for solving the case, remains unfound.

Lakhimpur police, aided by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), conducted an extensive search operation at a pond along the highway in hopes of locating the missing head. The operation involved draining the pond to assist recovery efforts. Authorities believe that finding the head will provide critical clues to unravel the mystery behind the gruesome murder.

Complicating the case further is the disappearance of Sunil Gogoi, a contractor associated with the Jal Jeevan Mission. His unknown whereabouts add another layer of intrigue to the ongoing investigation.

The police remain committed to solving the case, with hopes that recovering the missing head will illuminate the motive and the perpetrator behind Jahangir’s murder.
