A devastating truck accident on National Highway 17 near Golakganj in Dhubri resulted in the death of a driver on June 26.
The incident happened when the truck, registered as WB-11-F-8170, lost control and overturned near Bishnodai village panchayat on NH-17.
The deceased driver has been identified as Gautam De from Kolkata, Howrah. The truck’s handyman, Shahib Sha, also from Howrah, suffered severe injuries in the crash.
Emergency responders and local authorities quickly arrived at the scene to offer medical aid and manage the situation.
