In a tragic incident in Mahuramukh, Golaghat, Assam, a boat accident in the floodwaters of the Brahmaputra River resulted in the deaths of two young men. The accident occurred when a group of five youths attempted to reach a tree using a dilapidated boat.
The boat, which was in poor condition, capsized during the attempt. Unfortunately, Lahan Mahli and Paplu Das lost their lives in the accident. The other three youths, Raj Das, Mausum Das, and Dipjyoti Mahli, were critically injured and have been hospitalized for treatment.
