Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Addresses Border Issues with Arunachal Pradesh in Key Meeting

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma convened a critical meeting with officials from the Border Protection and Development Department to tackle the ongoing border disputes between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. The meeting saw the participation of Hon’ble Minister Shri Atul Bora and other key officials.

In the meeting, Chief Minister Sarma delved into discussions regarding the unresolved demarcation issues between the two states. He highlighted the necessity of devising comprehensive roadmaps for conducting surveys and resolving other significant border-related concerns.

Chief Minister Sarma instructed the officials to implement measures aimed at resolving the long-standing boundary disputes amicably. He emphasized the importance of a peaceful resolution to the current stand-off and advocated for solutions that would serve the interests of both states.
