Imphal, July 22 — Manipur Police have apprehended two members of the Kangleipak Communist Party (Politburo Standing Committee) in a recent operation in Meitram Mayai Leikai, Bishnupur District. The individuals, Ayekpam Chingkhu Meitei, 28, and Chandam Devajit Singh, 19, were detained on July 21.
Authorities recovered Rs. 13,500 in cash, one Aadhaar card, three mobile phones, and a four-wheeler from the suspects. The arrests reflect ongoing efforts to counter militant activities and enhance security in the region.
