Shillong, July 29, 2024 — A government Gypsy owned by the Public Works Department (PWD) was set ablaze in Nongmynsong, Shillong, early this morning. The vehicle, registered as ML 01 5989, was completely destroyed by the fire, which started around 3 am near the Nongmensong Umkdait post office.
Emergency services arrived on the scene to find the vehicle fully engulfed in flames. Local authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident and are actively seeking the individuals responsible for the attack.
