New Delhi: In light of the escalating political turmoil in Bangladesh, Gaurav Gogoi, Deputy Leader of Congress in the Lok Sabha, has called for improved communication between the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and opposition leaders. Gogoi urged the MEA to provide regular updates on the Indian government’s responses to the crisis.
He emphasized the importance of keeping opposition leaders informed, stating, “The Ministry of External Affairs needs to maintain ongoing communication with opposition parties. Regular updates on the steps the Government of India is taking are essential. We are receiving information from various sources, and effective dialogue will help us share our insights and contribute to the situation.”
Gogoi highlighted that such transparency is critical for a unified approach to the diplomatic challenges posed by the Bangladesh crisis.
