Union Minister for Tribal Affairs, Jual Oram, arrived in Nagaland on Sunday, October 13, for a three-day visit aimed at evaluating ongoing developmental projects and engaging with local officials. Upon his arrival at Dimapur Airport, Oram was warmly received by representatives from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland State.
During his visit, the minister is scheduled to tour various development sites across the state. He will also hold a review meeting with local authorities in Zunheboto on Monday, October 14, to assess the progress of key projects. Oram’s agenda includes interactions with BJP Nagaland party members, where discussions on regional development and party activities are expected to take place.
On Tuesday, October 15, the minister will chair a state-level review meeting at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall in Dimapur, focusing on the implementation of development initiatives across Nagaland. Before concluding his visit, Oram is set to address a press briefing with local media representatives, outlining the outcomes of his meetings and future plans for tribal development in the state.
