Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a visionary global leader during a public meeting where Modi inaugurated development projects worth a staggering ₹2 lakh crore in the state. Addressing the gathering, Naidu emphasized Modi’s global influence, describing him as a leader admired far beyond India’s borders.
“Prime Minister Modi is no longer just an Indian leader; he is a global leader, standing tall among the world’s most respected figures,” Naidu declared, sparking applause from the audience. He lauded Modi’s transformative initiatives, such as Digital India, Make-in-India, and Skill India, which have propelled India’s global stature. Naidu also highlighted his personal admiration for Modi’s commitment to the nation, stating, “Under his leadership, India is on the rise, and I am deeply inspired by his dedication.”
Modi, visibly pleased with Naidu’s remarks, responded with humor, saying, “He hit all sixes in his speech,” drawing laughter and cheers from the crowd. Naidu, in turn, reaffirmed the strength of the alliance between the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Jana Sena, which recently achieved a resounding victory in the elections, securing 164 Assembly seats and 21 parliamentary constituencies.
The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister highlighted the state’s progress under Modi’s leadership, citing the establishment of premier institutions like IITs, IIMs, NITs, and AIIMS in the state post-bifurcation. He expressed confidence in Modi’s vision to position India among the world’s top two economies and recalled Modi’s intervention to reassure Google during a critical investment discussion in Visakhapatnam. “When Google expressed concerns about taxation policies, Modi personally assured them of a stable business environment. How many leaders would take such decisive steps?” Naidu remarked.
Naidu also reflected on the NDA government’s focus on eradicating poverty and achieving sustainable growth. He reassured the public that the combined efforts of the central and state leadership would propel Andhra Pradesh toward double-digit growth and ensure a prosperous future for its citizens.
Concluding his address, Naidu invited Modi to revisit Amaravati, recalling the Prime Minister’s participation in the city’s foundation-laying ceremony. He described Amaravati’s journey from uncertainty to near completion and expressed hope for Modi’s presence at its grand inauguration.
Naidu’s glowing tribute to Modi underscores the strong collaboration between the central and state governments, which continues to drive transformative development in Andhra Pradesh and beyond, reflecting India’s growing aspirations on the global stage.
